Live at socialbar – Samuel Taylor

Book now

Thursday 26th March - 7.30pm

socialbar is delighted to welcome rising indie-folk artist Samuel Taylor for an intimate live show — and exploration of his craft.

Following the release of his 2026 debut EP Lost & Overgrown, Samuel has quickly gained attention across the industry. The record has drawn praise from Clash, Fame, Atwood Magazine, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, marking him out as a powerful new voice in British songwriting.

Discovered and signed to No Roads Records by Suffolk musician and producer Jesse Quin of Keane, Samuel writes with rare emotional clarity. He writes about love, longing and what it takes to keep going when things feel uncertain. In socialbar’s intimate space, his performance will be even more personal.

A Live Set + Artist Conversation

As with our previous artist evenings, this won’t just be a gig. After his set, Samuel will stay for an informal, hosted conversation and audience Q&A — offering insight into the stories behind Lost & Overgrown, and what it means to find expression through the medium of music. Samuel will talk about his writing process, what influences him and how a piece develops from idea to finished track.
