socialbar Beer Tasting

socialbar is teaming up with Lloyd from On Tap Co for an evening of craft beer tasting and brewery conversation. With a background in brewery development and a clear love of independent beers, particularly in East Anglia, Lloyd works closely with a wide mix of producers to get the right beers into the right venues.

That means we’re not tied to one brewery for the night. Instead, Lloyd’s pulling together a lineup that reflects the breadth of what’s happening across the craft scene right now — including breweries like Wildcraft, Founders and others he works closely with.

We’ll be pouring a range that moves across styles — from clean, crisp lagers through to hazy, juicy pales and into darker, more structured beers — all chosen for character and interest rather than just familiarity. Plenty to get into around flavour, brewing and how these beers end up on taps and in bottles, like at socialbar.

Expect an informal, flavour-packed night with snacks on the side, interactive conversation in the mix and a few surprises. Whether you’re deep into craft beer or just dipping your toe into it for the first time, come along for the ride.
