De Stefani Solèr Bondholder Edition
Veneto, Italy · 2021 · 14% ABV
A rich, full-bodied red with bold blackcurrant, plum, dried cherry and wild strawberry. Velvety and ripe with fine tannins and a long, silky finish. Made from five grape varieties — including the lesser-known Marzemino and Refosco — some of which are gently dried before fermentation using the traditional recioto method. This age-old Venetian technique shrivels the grapes slightly to intensify sweetness, depth and texture. The name Solèr refers to the loft where these grapes were once dried. The wine is produced by the De Stefani family, who have been winemakers in the region since 1624 and now run a carbon-neutral, solar-powered estate.
