Third-generation grower Jérémie Batard returned home after winemaking stints abroad, bringing a fresh lens to his family's historic Muscadet vines. Alongside his wife Claire, the duo farm organically and ferment with wild yeasts in underground, glass-lined tanks — a rare nod to tradition. This 2023 from 50-year-old vines on gabbro soils is taut, saline and textural, with citrus peel and crushed rock on the finish.
